Wanted: Property Manager – Calgary, Alberta

We are searching for an experienced Property Manager (PM) who will oversee a large multi-family portfolio. The PM will manage a team of 7 people and be responsible for building operations, tenant relations and leasing.

  • Serve as the primary contact for the property and ownership
  • Draft and execute emergency plans, and act as life safety director while assisting emergency services and response teams
  • Work with Operations and leasing staff to ensure the highest standards of service
  • Oversee all monthly move-in/move-outs
  • Oversee the adoption of the latest technologies as it relates to our industry


  • Numbers oriented individual with good financial acumen, and
  • Fiscally accountable. Previous experience drafting budgets and preparing financial reports


  • Experience sourcing vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Oversee Tenant Improvements and Renovations


  • Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships, and
  • Strong conflict mediation skills

  • Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Real Estate Management or equivalent required
  • 6+ years of high-end residential property management is required
  • 4+ years of supervisory experience
  • Good understanding of lease agreements and RTA
  • Proven experience managing capital projects
  • Proven budgeting experience
  • Previous experience sourcing vendors
  • A highly organized individual who has experience managing capital projects
  • Experience with Rent Manger is an asset

Core hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Following the probationary period, the successful candidate will be eligible for a benefits package.
