Wanted: Property Manager – Calgary, Alberta
We are searching for an experienced Property Manager (PM) who will oversee a large multi-family portfolio. The PM will manage a team of 7 people and be responsible for building operations, tenant relations and leasing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary contact for the property and ownership
- Draft and execute emergency plans, and act as life safety director while assisting emergency services and response teams
- Work with Operations and leasing staff to ensure the highest standards of service
- Oversee all monthly move-in/move-outs
- Oversee the adoption of the latest technologies as it relates to our industry
FINANCE/ACCOUNTING
- Numbers oriented individual with good financial acumen, and
- Fiscally accountable. Previous experience drafting budgets and preparing financial reports
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Experience sourcing vendors and negotiating contracts
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Oversee Tenant Improvements and Renovations
RELATIONSHIP SKILLS
- Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships, and
- Strong conflict mediation skills
ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
Ability to:
- Allocate one’s time effectively and manage tight deadlines
- Handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and
- Consistently maintain service integrity and all the aspects that encompass property management

REQUIREMENTS
- Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Real Estate Management or equivalent required
- 6+ years of high-end residential property management is required
- 4+ years of supervisory experience
- Good understanding of lease agreements and RTA
- Proven experience managing capital projects
- Proven budgeting experience
- Previous experience sourcing vendors
- A highly organized individual who has experience managing capital projects
- Experience with Rent Manger is an asset
Core hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Following the probationary period, the successful candidate will be eligible for a benefits package.
