Wanted: On-Call General Maintenance Contractor – Calgary, Alberta
We are seeking an on-call General Maintenance Contractor to join our team. Handle day to day maintenance emergencies such as minor water leaks and other emergent situations that may arise. Must demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability and time management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to:
- Responding to maintenance calls from tenants, resolving the issue in a timely manner, and communicating all findings to the Property Manager. Maintenance emergencies may occur at any time of the day or night, and maintenance personnel are required to respond to emergent situations during all times.
- walk the properties and parkades to make sure they are secure.
- Mowing, lawn care, and snow removal as needed.
- Tenant lockout.
- General upkeep of rental properties, interior and exterior.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum education: High School Diploma
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
- Willing to work hard, and have a flexible schedule as needed
- Must be able to respond to emergency maintenance calls during all hours
