Calgary jobs are back!

According to CBC news today, Calgary jobs are back but applicants need to be flexible, open to learning new skills and be prepared to accept less pay.  Perhaps I am an optimist because I read it as Alberta creating a more diverse economy with better prospects for growth long term from many more segments than our traditional ones.  Perhaps the growth bust cycle will permanently end and we will have inherited a more robust economy for the future.  To have a workforce with diverse, flexible skills that can meet different opportunities is a tremendous advantage in a world of so much uncertainty.  This type of talented pool will not wait for opportunities to come to them but will create opportunities and businesses that can transform nations.
